“Thank you, Donna! What a wonderful place you guys have built in Bucerias. I was having such a wonderful time I forgot to take more photos of inside! Spent most of my time by the pool, having dinner cooked by Chef Patricia and drinking the best Casa Jacarandas signature drink made by Alejandro, watching Footy on his daily visit, and hearing the horses next door snorting in happiness.”

“Casa Jacarandas is a most beautiful spot to stay. Homey and spacious, yet cozy, and located in a spectacular area, walking distance to so many places.”

“Even though I was quite sick during our time at Casa Jacarandas, it was one of our most memorable vacations. We've been coming to Bucerias for about 10 years, and have always loved it. But this time!!! Loved the area!!! Walking around the dirt roads enhanced with roosters and chickens, dogs and horses and BEAUTIFUL HAPPY PEOPLE! The doctor I saw, whose pharmacy and office is in front of his garage. So cool! The Mom & Pop restaurants,... all so good! The Communuty Church, so welcoming! The Revolution Day celebrations at the carnival...so fun! Our last morning, Jesus (house builder) introduced us to another Alejandro who has a sweet outdoor cafe that uses freshly milked goats milk. It was pretty exciting to actually milk the goat. So much fun and sooo good. Yeah, there was a shot of tequila in there too. All that, topped with the precious gifts of dear old friends that have evolved into the most wonderful friendships!!! We were also so happy that our Jacki was able to join in the fun! I think she'll be back!! It was an incredibly fantastic trip! We have returned home inspired by the Bucerias way of life! Thank you Donna!!!!!”

“Just want to clarify that my germs came from Canada, not from Mexico or anything I ate while in Mexico.”

“5 of us had the pleasure of spending a wonderful vacation here in mid February. Casa ‘Jacarandas’ met all of our needs, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, amazing pool and pool deck. We all had our own rooms (2 couples, one single) each with their own washrooms. This allowed us to have private time if needed, but the very large dining table and the comfortable living room gave us the opportunity to spend many hours in each others company, eating, playing games, having a few bevy’s and making some great memories.

The Casa is situated only a short walk to the beach and into Centro.

The pool was great to come home to after a day out and about and also a most excellent place to enjoy a morning coffee.

The very large Palapa allows for wonderful views and you are able to watch the sunrise as well as the sunset.

We loved every moment we had here at Casa ‘Jacarandas’, wouldn’t hesitate to go back and would highly recommend as a great place to stay while vacationing in Bucerias.

“Sitting under a blanket with a heating pad, drinking a morning coffee and reflecting on a wonderful 10 days at the Casa! The comfy beds, the well equipped kitchen, poolside relaxation. What a magical place. The sounds of farm animals and geckos and iguanas. The warm and friendly locals. The wonderful Pastor Freddie at the local church. Cant wait to go back!”

“What an amazing 8 nights in Bucerias . Donna, the house is so welcoming! One can feel the love in all the details, from your list of some of your local favorites, to luxurious towels and a perfectly ready kitchen, to the game or two for those quiet times.

The pool is so lovely. I loved the horses talking to us through the windows, the grackles daily visit, and the conversations between roosters and dogs, lol.

Thank you! The three of us made memories of a lifetime during this trip with the people we met, the food we ate, and our experiences.

I hate goodbyes, so I end with, until next time .”

“We had a wonderful vacation at Casa ‘Jacarandas’ in mid April. There were five of us.

We were really pleased with the home. It is spacious and had everything we needed. The pool and yard are lovely.

Everything is in walking distance, beaches, downtown, groceries, restaurants and public transit. We found many fabulous local places to eat.

The neighbors are friendly and we felt safe in the neighborhood.

It was also cool to see the chickens and roosters walking about.

I would absolutely return.”

“We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Alegria, Bucerias, MX in early December.

This home is new construction, well laid out, with a well-stocked kitchen and spacious rooms.

The home is an easy walk to town for shops and restaurants. Having breakfast at Karen's Place on the beach is a real treat.

The rooftop, Palapa, is a large, beautiful area with a 360-degree view of the whole town. Great Sunsets!.

Lounging in the saltwater pool every day was wonderful.

We will definitely come back.”
